The Wagner Thunderbird BN and the Veterans Patriot BN participated in their annual Junior Reserve Officer Corps Leadership Camp (JCLC) on June 13th -17th at Newcombe Ranch in New Braunfels, TX.
The camp was for selected cadets enrolled in the JROTC program throughout the state in order to develop leaders for the continuation of strong JROTC programs that motivate young people to become better citizens. There were a total of 18 JROTC programs throughout the state of Texas participating at the camp. The Cadets enjoyed rigorous outdoor team-building exercises, which included low and high ropes, marches on Enchanted Rock, leadership responsibilities, and physical fitness competitions.
