Judson ISD remembered and honored the life and sacrifice of LTC Karen Wagner at her namesake school on the 21st anniversary of 9/11. This year, the JROTC Department and school staff at Wagner High School led the memorial at the Wagner High School Football Field. LTC Wagner, who died at the Pentagon during the 9/11 attacks in 2001, was a 1979 graduate of Judson High School. The ceremony included a wreath display, remembrances of Lt. Col. Wagner’s contributions as a student and soldier and ended with the playing of taps and a moment of silence.
