On Thursday, September 15, workers from Amazon warehouse SAT-9 made a surprise visit to Copperfield Elementary. Their location partnered with Reading is Fundamental and donated 300 brand-new books for students. The Amazon workers packed 3 books in a drawstring bag making 100 kits and added activity for families to do after reading. Librarian Nikki Polk and Admin team Sheri Wrather, Jami Sawyer, and Mirza Estrada were overwhelmed with the generosity of the company. The literacy kits were passed out Friday to lucky first graders.
