Dr. Ball hosts first Coffee with the Superintendent event

On September 17, Dr. Jeanette Ball hosted community members at JTECH for the first Coffee with the Superintendent of the school year.

“I love doing this,” Ball said. “This is a great informal way to connect with the community and answer any questions or concerns they have for me.”

Building strong relationships with our community is very important to the district and Dr. Ball. Her goal is to connect, learn, and grow with the community.

“With how successful the first one went, I want to ensure we continue to do these and invite more and more parents and community members out to just chat over some good coffee,” Ball said.

Board members Suzanne Kenoyer and Renée A. Paschall were also in attendance to visit community members and hear any of their concerns related to the district's schools.

The event is held at the district’s JTECH building, which is located at 7990 Pat Booker Rd. It runs from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Dr. Ball will host another event on October 29, and one specifically for Spanish-speaking community members on October 8.
