District celebrates Human Resources Appreciation Day
On September 26, 2022, students from Wagner High School’s Culinary Arts Program hosted a luncheon for the district’s Human Resources staff in celebration of Human Resources Appreciation Day.
“They are instrumental in choosing and retaining the best of the best, ensuring that those we hire support all parts of our district,” Superintendent Dr. Jeanette Ball said in her Monday Message.
In the official board proclamation, the board highlighted how the department “plays a key role in fostering satisfaction and loyalty among employees by allowing for professional growth and development and keeping employees informed about policies, working conditions, compensation, and benefits.”
During the luncheon, each member of the Senior Staff was able to say some words about the work that human resources does. It was highlighted how simply kind they are to everyone that walks into the office.
“There is a warmth about the space that makes it so inviting to anyone that walks in,” Ball said. “They are a special group of people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Judson ISD is filled with the best people.”
Lastly, before they began their meal, Mr. Joseph Guidry, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, made it clear that they are crucial to the operation of the district.
“Because of what you do behind the scenes, we are able to run,” Guidry said.
