Judson ISD kicked off the 2025–2026 school year by welcoming its newest educators at this the annual New Teacher Academy. The event hosted at Wagner High School began with a high-energy greeting from the Thunderbirdl band and cheerleaders, setting the tone for a week of inspiration, learning, and community building.
The New Teacher Academy is designed to introduce incoming teachers to the district’s culture, values, and strategic goals. Throughout the week, educators will engage in sessions focused on instruction, student engagement, and the critical role they play in the success of JISD students.
“We are so happy that these educators have chosen Judson ISD as their professional home. Their commitment to our students and community will drive our mission forward. Together, we will continue to build a culture of excellence and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.”
As the district prepares for another year of Producing Excellence, New Teacher Academy empowers those new to the district to build strong connections, align with shared goals, and focus on what matters most - student success.
