The Judson Independent School District Growth and Planning Committee met December 11 for a workshop focused on reviewing quantitative data to guide decisions on possible school consolidations.
Committee members examined information including building age, utility usage, campus utilization and capacity, and facility needs assessments. The data review is part of an ongoing process to develop a formal recommendation for the Judson ISD Board of Trustees in the coming months.
The committee, which includes two representatives from each campus in the district, will hold another workshop January 12 to review qualitative data before finalizing its recommendation. The Board of Trustees will vote on any proposed consolidations, which would take effect in the 2026-2027 school year.
