1/26/26 UPDATE
Judson ISD has been closely monitoring weather conditions and the safety of our facilities. After assessing road conditions, weather forecasts, and the status of our buildings, we have determined that all Judson ISD schools and offices will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
We look forward to welcoming students and staff back to campus. As operations resume, we ask for your patience with bus routes as drivers work carefully and safely to return to normal schedules. Some routes may experience minor delays.

1/24/2026 at 4:00 PM: Due to extreme cold temperatures and the potential for hazardous icy conditions across our region, Judson Independent School District has made the decision to close all schools and district offices on Monday, January 26.
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and families, and to support continued stability of regional power infrastructure.
At this time, we anticipate returning to a regular schedule on Tuesday. However, conditions may change, and we encourage families to continue monitoring our official Judson ISD website and social media channels for the latest updates.

1/23/2026: We have been monitoring the weather and have been in conversation with The National Weather Service to make sure we make well-informed decisions to ensure the safety of our students and staff. District staff will continue to closely watch the weather conditions over the weekend.
Decisions about school cancellations will be made no later than 5:15 am on Monday, January 26th. Communication will be sent via email, text, phone call, school websites, and Judson ISD social media.
All extracurricular and co-curricular activities for Saturday, January 24th have been cancelled.
Additional updates are as follows:
Travel for all three high schools to the NCA cheer competition has been cancelled.
All athletic activities (indoor or outdoor) for Saturday, January 24th have been cancelled.
All outdoor activities that were scheduled for Friday, January 23rd have been rescheduled.
The only athletic indoor activity to continue as a regular schedule for Friday, January 23rd would be Wrestling and Basketball.
Elementary Honor Choir auditions have been cancelled.
