Dr. Robert Jaklich was appointed Interim Superintendent of Judson ISD on February 16, 2026. With more than 40 years of experience in public education, he is recognized statewide for his servant leadership, collaborative approach, and strong commitment to supporting students, educators, and school communities.
Dr. Jaklich began his education career as a basketball coach in Northside ISD and advanced into campus and district leadership roles, serving as a middle school and high school principal and later as Executive Director of Human Resources. His career includes superintendent roles at Harlandale ISD and Victoria ISD, as well as a seven‑month appointment as Interim Superintendent of San Antonio ISD. In 2017, he was honored as a TASB Superintendent of the Year Finalist.
Before joining Judson ISD, Dr. Jaklich served ESC‑20 as a Senior Field Service Agent, where he supported school boards and superintendents, strengthened governance systems, and facilitated communication networks across regional districts and the Texas Education Agency.
Dr. Jaklich’s extensive experience includes leadership development, school finance, facilities planning, personnel management, and curriculum implementation. He is committed to creating exceptional learning environments that are grounded in a deep belief in people, a passion for education, and a purpose-driven approach to every challenge.
He is honored to serve the students, staff, and community of Judson ISD.
