Judson ISD proudly celebrated retirees at the JISD Retirement Dinner held on May 5, 2026. The t evening honored individuals whose careers were dedicated to serving Judson ISD students and families. Their commitment and service will continue to shape the district and community for decades to come.
Together, the 2026 retirees represent more than 2,000 years of combined service, reflecting a lifetime of commitment to Judson ISD students, families, and schools.
Interim Superintendent Dr. Robert Jaklich asked all retirees to stand during the program, recognizing the collective impact they have made across the district. As the audience applauded, he shared, “These people before you are the example of 55.8 square miles of excellence.”
Dr. Jaklich also expressed gratitude for the legacy each retiree leaves behind, saying, “Thank you for the legacy and mark you have made on our school district.”
School Board President Monica Ryan echoed that appreciation and reminded attendees that the influence of these retirees continues well beyond retirement. “Your impact doesn’t end tonight,” Ryan said. “It walks out of here in the lives of the students and families you’ve touched.”
The evening was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments as colleagues and friends reflected on years of service, meaningful relationships, and shared memories. The retirement dinner honored not only careers, but the lasting difference these individuals have made in the lives of countless students and families.
