The Judson ISD Academic All-State Banquet was a celebration of student‑athletes whose perseverance and dedication defined their high school experience. The event continues to be one of the most meaningful in JISD Athletics because it celebrates excellence beyond competition. Out of nearly 400 senior student‑athletes across the district, only 106 earned this distinction by maintaining at least a 92 GPA throughout all four years of high school while competing in athletics.

Students were recognized for their consistency, discipline, and commitment to high academic standards while competing and representing their schools athletically. Their achievements reflect years of hard work in the classroom and in competition, and a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in both.

The evening was a special celebration for students, parents, and coaches who each played a role in that success. Guest speaker Yolanda Rodgers, Assistant Vice President of Youth Sports for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, shared an encouraging message, reminding students that while the path ahead may not always be easy, it will always be worth it, something these student‑athletes have already proven through their accomplishments.

“We are proud to celebrate these student‑athletes and the support systems behind them,” said Executive Director of Athletics Triva Corrales. “They represent the very best of what education-based athletics is intended to accomplish.”
