Judson ISD welcomed students, families, staff, and community partners to the annual JISD Block Party, bringing the community together to celebrate the start of a new school year.

The event provided families with an opportunity to connect with their schools, meet campus principals and staff, and learn about resources available to support student success. Community organizations and vendors were also on hand to share valuable services and information with families as they prepare for the year ahead.

JISD extends its appreciation to the many community partners who helped provide school supplies and support for students and families. Their generosity and commitment helped ensure attendees left prepared and excited for the first day of school.

The event also featured spirited performances from cheerleaders representing Judson High School, Veterans Memorial High School, and Wagner High School, as well as dance teams from Judson High School and Wagner High School. Their enthusiasm and school pride helped create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere throughout the event.

Most importantly, the Block Party offered families a chance to build connections with their school communities before the first day of class. These relationships play an important role in creating a strong foundation for student success.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, partnered, and contributed to making the JISD Block Party a success. JISD looks forward to an exciting school year and is proud to be part of such a supportive community.
