🏆📖 Superior Rating for The Declaration 📖🏆 Congratulations to the Veterans Memorial Media Team on earning a Superior rating for the 2025 edition of The Declaration, our annual literary magazine! This honor places The Declaration among only 10 high school and college literary magazines in the entire state of Texas to receive a Superior ranking. Rankings are awarded by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and fall into three categories: Superior, Excellent, and Distinguished—making this achievement especially meaningful. The Declaration showcases the combined talents of student writers, artists, photographers, and digital designers, each bringing their own creative voice while working collaboratively as a team. This recognition reflects both individual excellence and the power of collective creativity. This award also marks another milestone in the VMHS Media Program’s ongoing pursuit of excellence, adding magazine production to an already impressive list of honors in broadcasting, photography, journalism, and film. 🤖🚀 Robotics Advances to Semi-Regionals! 🚀🤖 This past Saturday, our VMHS Robotics Team advanced to Semi-Regionals, happening February 14 at Harmony! This achievement comes from strong competition placement and earning the Judges’ Choice Award—a special honor given when judges recognize exceptional effort, teamwork, and the overall success of a team’s design. A huge congratulations to the students who worked tirelessly to build, code, and market Sabrina, our robot. Your dedication truly paid off!
